If you will be appointing your own contractors directly to complete some elements of the project, Meridian Interiors will need to meet with each of these contractors and receive copies of their project related H&S information prior to them commencing on site.  The assessment of these contractors’ competence to carry-out their designated works should be completed by yourselves or the Principal Designer prior to their appointment.

Notifiable Projects

Did you know?

Clients must make suitable arrangements for managing their project, enabling those carrying it out to manage health and safety risks in a proportionate way.

Notifiable Projects are ones where the construction work is expected to last longer than 30 days and have more than 20 workers working at the same time at any point or the project exceeds 500 person days.

Visit the HSE website to learn more about Notifiable construction projects.
