Maximising Natural Light with Practical Comfort

To ensure a comfortable working environment all year-round, we installed a Mitsubishi air conditioning systems, with individual units in the open-plan area, meeting room, and private office. This approach not only keeps the space at an optimal temperature but also allows for greater flexibility in zoning the air conditioning system.

One of the standout features of the Swift IT office is the large expanse of external glazing on one side, which provides an abundance of natural light. We installed new window blinds throughout the office. These blinds provide employees with the ability to control light levels and privacy, while still allowing the office to benefit from the large windows and bright surroundings.

Creating Functional and Modern Office Areas

To meet the functional needs of the team, we created a modern tea point area that serves as a central hub for staff. The tea point is designed with sleek, matt charcoal cabinetry, complemented by a durable stone FX laminated worktop and upstand. To enhance its functionality and visual appeal, we added black ‘T’ Bar handles and an integrated fridge, ensuring the area is both stylish and easy to maintain.

Mobile work benches were provided to support Swift IT’s work in repairing and assembling IT equipment. Featuring work surfaces, ample storage beneath, and a monitor arms mounted on the backboard, these functional work benches provide a flexible addition to the office.

Optimising Office Layout and Privacy

The office originally featured an open-plan layout that required careful consideration to balance a collaborative space with the need for cellular meeting spaces. To achieve this, we installed glazed partition walls that divided the space to provide a meeting room and private office space.

Refreshing the Office Aesthetic

The office received full redecoration and new floor coverings. Burmatex carpet tiles in a complementary colour were chosen for their durability, ease of maintenance, and modern appearance. The colour palette was carefully selected to create a clean, professional, and inviting atmosphere that aligns with Swift IT’s brand identity and corporate culture.
