Reception Refurbishment in Leighton Buzzard

Solution

The project began with a full strip-out, removing the existing reception counter, flooring, and redundant fixtures to allow for a complete reconfiguration of the space.

A bespoke reception counter was designed, manufactured, and installed as the centrepiece of the refurbishment. Finished with a bold blue back painted glass front, white worktop, and integrated storage, the counter was further enhanced with the client’s branding to create a strong and welcoming visual identity.

To support modern operational needs, new power and data infrastructure was introduced via discreet perimeter trunking, enabling flexible desk layout without compromising the overall aesthetic. Updated CAT6 cabling and new socket provisions ensured reliable connectivity throughout.

The environment was further enhanced with the installation of feature pendant lighting above the reception desk, hanging from an extended bulkhead to align the lighting and reception desk.

Finishing works included the installation of new carpet tiles, refreshed decoration, and the application of frosted window film to increase privacy while maintaining natural light. The result is a streamlined, functional, and visually impactful reception area aligned with the client’s brand and day-to-day requirements.
