Category B Office Fit Out in Milton Keynes – Perspective Finance

The ‘Category A’ Fit-Out project commenced with a comprehensive strip-out, removing outdated fixtures and services to create a blank canvas for the refurbishment.

A modern suspended ceiling system was then installed featuring LED lighting and emergency lighting, enhancing both functionality and energy efficiency.

Meridian Interiors implemented a waste segregation system to manage construction waste responsibly. Additionally, a flooring ‘give-back’ scheme was initiated, where the flooring supplier cleaned or repurposed materials for community use, emphasising the project’s commitment to environmental sustainability.

New flooring was laid throughout the office, providing a neutral backdrop for the upcoming ‘Category B’ fit-out.

The ‘Category B’ Fit-Out started with the installation of new services including floor boxes for power and data infrastructure, along with a significant air conditioning system, tailored to the office’s diverse needs. Both ceiling cassette and wall-mounted units were installed to optimise climate control.

Meridian worked closely with The Parks Trust and their consultants to design an effective layout for the air conditioning condensers, ensuring compliance with site specifications.

A functional tea point was installed with grey cabinetry and a black worktop, complemented by a breakfast bar to serve the office’s headcount. Safety vinyl flooring was selected for this area to facilitate maintenance.

The installation of part-glazed partitioning with integral venetian blinds allowed for effective light flow, while ensuring privacy when needed. This design created a balance between openness and functionality across individual offices and meeting spaces.

The office featured commercial-grade carpet tiles in varying shades to define different areas, with navy blue in the meeting rooms and individual offices and grey in open-plan areas. The walls were painted in an off-white tone to refresh the space and provide a clean, modern environment for Perspective Finance to personalise with their furniture.
