Point of Difference procured the services of Meridian Interiors to complete office fit-out and refurbishment of Guardian House, Banbury. The building was quite dilapidated, so our brief was to fully refurbish the building over 3-floors to bring it up to a safe, modern and contemporary designed standard.

Project Scope

A complete office refurbishment and office furniture installation, to include:

• Gas pipe relocation.
• New boiler and heating systems
• Washroom refurbishments.
• New solid and glazed partitioning.
• Suspended ceilings and insulation.
• Internal blockwork alterations.
• Internal and external decorating.
• New task and feature lighting.
• Air conditioning and ventilation systems.
• Structured comms cabling.
• New mains distribution board and power provisions.
• Flooring
• New tea point facilities

The Solution

To work with the clients in-house design team to develop the specification schedule and add value and our expertise in refurbishing this type of property.

The building had remained empty and unused for some time. The age and condition of the building provided certain challenges to bring it up to current regulatory standards.

A further challenge was seeking to provide an aesthetically pleasing office environment, in-line with the clients and designers expectations. The results are stunning! Capturing modern design trends, whilst remaining in-touch with contemporary themes and the buildings heritage.
