The Solution
Recreating such an iconic TV set within a work environment was really interesting.
Working to the designs, Meridian set about assisting the client with the selection of specific products to mirror images from the ‘Friends’ Central Perk set, with incredible results!
The bespoke counter bar, wall displays, chalkboard, brick effect wallpaper, feature lighting and ‘Central Perk’ glazing graphics were combined to present a collaboration space individual to EA First’s requirement. The results illustrate Meridian’s skills in delivering this design, down to the smallest detail.
Creating a ‘Quiet Space’ within this Cambridge office environment, was completed with faux grass and acoustic cloud shaped ceiling panels, to which biophilia was supplemented through the addition of real plants. A complementary waterfall was added to create a therapeutic space, for EA First employees to escape to, when they need to relax and recharge, before heading back to work.
The staff break-out space was fitted with a fantastic bar area, complete with glass fronted fridges, a Hydro Zip-Tap, luxury vinyl tiles, ceramic wall tiles and feature lighting.
As an amazing first for Meridian Interiors, a bubble wall was installed. This impressive design feature has a glass sealed tank to hold the water and the bubbles work well with the coloured feature LED lighting. A truly mesmerising feature that has really brought the space to life!
